Most Sincere Appreciation and Gratitude:
1. To all the families who supported, subsidized and served the daily Advent Snacks (Dec. 16-23) after our Simbang Gabi Service (Advent Night Watch). Maraming salamat po sa inyong lahat.
2. To all the participants during our nightly Advent services—Acolytes, greeters, offering stewards, liturgists, flower donors, etc. and the participation of RAdm. Serapio Martillano (Ret.) and Mr. Onesimus Gato in sharing the message on the Dec. 21 and Dec. 22, respectively. Also to Mrs. Laarni Lazaro-de Jesus and the Children’s Sunday School teachers for the Children’s Program on the 23rd; and to Mrs. Mary Jane Bruno-Valenzuela and the Chancel Choir for the Christmas Cantata on the 24th.
3. To all who prepared the gifts shared with families and children in the Outreach Areas—Montalban, Rabosna, Mustang, Sto. Nino, Amaca, Lupang Biyaya through the leadership of Engr. Pearl SP Flores and the women of the church.
4. To all the families who shared their blessings to the Christmas Cheers for the QCD Church Workers. Fellowship and Gift-giving was held at the Village UMC last December 17.
5. To Mr. & Mrs. Arnold Galapia for sharing seven (7) cavans of clean rice for the ministerial staff, for the annual white Christmas, and for UMC seminary students.
6. To Mr. & Mrs. Bienvenido & Susan Lim for the use of their “school bus” during the entire duration of the Simbang Gabi.
7. To Mr. Tony Labao for driving (hatid-sundo) during the entire duration of the Simbang Gabi and other special trips in December.

For the Cruz & Nacpil families for the passing away of Mr. Rafael Roque Cruz (March 8, 1932-December 20, 2005). He is the father of Mrs. Jeannette C. Nacpil, our Conductor of Tagalog Youth Choir. He was 73 years old. Interment: December 24 at the Eternal Gardens.

Christmas Institute ‘05:
Our young people (UMYF) are attending the Christmas Institute (C.I.’05) on December 26-30 at Union Theological Seminary, Sampaloc, Dasmarinas, Cavite. Registration: P1,400.00 per delegate. For particulars, please see Joy Flores, or any MYF Officer. The pastors and some parents are paying a visit to the C.I.’05 on December 27. The group will leave at 6:30 a.m. Let us know if you have plans.

Jericho Walk—Reflection, Prayer and Fellowship.

Launching of the QCD Website was held at Village UMC, Pugad Lawin, Project 8, Q.C. last Dec. 22. Mrs. Victoria Fe O. Medina (QCD and FPUMC Lay Leader), RAdm. Serapio Martillano [Ret.] (FPUMC Outreach Chair), and Revs. Guerrero and Ferrer attended the event.

Pastors’ Schedule of Preaching on Sundays (January to May 2006):
Every 4th Sunday of the month our pastors will exchange pulpit in the Tagalog and English worship services in the morning. Rev. Glicerio M. Ferrer will take charge of the English Service; and Rev. Anacleto G. Guerrero will take charge of the Tagalog Service. Montalban Mission will be taken care of by Rev. Ferrer; Vesper Service will be conducted by Rev. Guerrero. Once a month schedule of preaching will also be done in Montalban and Vesper.
